SIGs and other Groups

Definition of a Grand Photos SIG group

SIG stands for Special Interest Group....and that is what it is. A group of our members who share a special interest- be it a type of camera, or software, or a common activity. The goal is to learn from each other, encourage and stimulate each other, and in the process become better at what we love to do, and
have fun doing it. It is not a class...but it could include presentations from the members and shared learning from everyone on the subject.

The facilitators are just that, facilitators, there to help keep things rolling. It is the members themselves that make it work. So, if you like hands on, and very active participation, this may be just what you are looking for.

New members who have recently joined Grand Photos: You may be interested in joining a SIG or other general interest group. Predominantly they are composed of groups with similar cameras, similar software for post processing, and special interests.

Please feel free to suggest any new group for consideration as a SIG. I will need a number of members interested with names and a facilitator.
