Fun and Friendly Monthly Photo Competition
Will YOU be ready?
No pressure…It’s easy and it’s fun
Each month the Club holds a “Fun and Friendly Photo Competition”. In December the Fun and Friendly Photo Competition will be held at our meeting on the 2nd Wednesday of the month,
December 14.
The main subject of the picture will vary from month-to-month. For December, the subject is:
“Things That Have A Special Meaning To You”
The rules are simple:
- Prints can not be larger than 8.5 x 11 inches; they may be unmounted or mounted. If mounted, they may not be any larger than 9.5 x 12 inches.
- Manipulation of the image is limited to: Cropping; Adjusting Levels, Shadow and Highlights & Brightness and Contrast; Adjusting Hue and Saturation and Sharpening. You may do as little, or as much, manipulation as you wish within these parameters.
- The print may not have won a ribbon (Acceptance or higher) in any previous independently judged competition.
- One print per member with the member’s name and an arrow, indicating the proper orientation of the print, on the back of the print. December’s competition is open to all members of the Club.
- The members present at the meeting will judge the competition and select the winning photograph and the “Blue Ribbon”.
